Why Top 100 AI Models exists
The AI landscape changes weekly. Benchmarks are gamed, launch posts are marketing, and most "best AI models" lists quietly sell their ranking positions. We built a list where the ranking is the product and the canvas is how it gets funded.
Ranked by usefulness
We score each model on capability, reliability, efficiency, accessibility and ecosystem — weighted toward what practitioners actually ship with. Read the methodology.
Transparent funding
Every sponsored tile is labelled with its share of the canvas. Our editorial policy forbids sponsors from influencing rank, scores or write-ups.
Monthly editions
