Our mission

Top100AImodels.com exists to give builders a trustworthy, current answer to a deceptively simple question: which AI models are actually worth using right now? We rank the 100 most useful models every month using a published methodology, and sponsorship supports the work without affecting rank.

The Million Pixel AI Canvas

Our home page is a 1,000,000-pixel canvas. Every model receives the same minimum base tile, and the remaining pixels are allocated to sponsors in proportion to their contribution for the edition. Individual payment and allocation details are not published; the current cost per pixel is shown on the Sponsor page.

What makes us different

Most "top AI models" pages are either affiliate funnels, static blog posts that were accurate for a week, or pay-to-play directories. We rank by usefulness to practitioners, refresh monthly, archive every edition, and separate money from rank by policy and by process.

Who we are

We are a small, independent editorial team of engineers and researchers who evaluate models for a living. We are not affiliated with any model vendor, cloud provider or venture fund. Team bios are published on request to sponsors and press.

Trademarks and fairness

Model and company names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products being ranked. Inclusion does not imply endorsement by the vendor, and we do not display vendor logos without permission. If you represent a listed model and would like to correct a factual error, contact us.
